Mike Leshyk
Mike is an engineer with over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.

Prior to joining IPV Gateways, Mike was VP Carrier Relations for BCS Global.

Previously Mike held the position of Sales Vice President, North American Carrier Services for AT&T Canada, where he was responsible for wholesale sales to carriers and switchless resellers in Canada and the United States. In that position Mike grew the annual revenues of his sales division from $35 million to $127 million in three years, while still maintaining profit margins, in a market where prices had dropped in excess of 50 per cent.

Mike has held marketing, sales, international carrier relations and engineering positions with AT&T Canada, UniTel Communications, CNCP Telecommunications and Bell Canada. He has also owned and operated several successful small businesses and telecommunications consulting practices. In the mid 1980's, while at CNCP, Mike worked in a team of five engineers that built a state-of-the-art, coast-to-coast digital switched-voice network in Canada. This network has now grown to become the AT&T Canada network.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and is a registered professional engineer. His greatest strength is his ability to marry economics and technology into a success equation when selling and interfacing to carriers.
