The service level delivered by the BCS Virtual
Presence Network is in direct correlation to the network access method. IP over
the standard DSL access or other broadband accesses, such as, ATM, frame, T1, wireless,
etc., enables full videoconferencing and real time collaboration. ISDN access limits
the capability to videoconferencing only. Mixing and matching IP and ISDN in the
same conference results in the lowest common denominator, that is, standard videoconferencing.
BCS provides standard pricing for BCS-supplied DSL access and for ISDN access. BCS's
Solutions Group provides pricing for access from enterprise networks and for broadband
access other than DSL.
BCS also configures solutions for special customer requirements, including such things
as ISDN dial out gateways to be located on BCS's central office premises. Additionally,
BCS's Solutions Group evaluates existing customer networks, and configures and installs
networks for end customers and telecommunications carriers alike.
